The Florence Town Council conducted a public hearing September 16 on a proposal to annex approximately 200 acres of undeveloped land into the town limits, marking the first step in expanding the existing Skyview Farms community.
The property sits at the southeast corner of East Heritage Road and the Yeager Road alignment. The Carrie Thompson Trust, also known as the Esperanza Charitable Fund, owns the entire site. Colliers Engineering, serving as planning consultant, submitted the annexation request on behalf of the property owner. LeSueur Investments serves as the developer.
