In the 35th update of the Downtown Campus Reinvestment Process, staff informed the Glendale City Council that the project is now past the halfway point, but still has plenty of work to be done until its completion.
One of the big debates in the workshop session was the location of the council members’ offices, which were placed on the garden level of the building, “for well over a year.” Councilmember Dianna Guzman raised the question of why the offices were not located on the fourth floor of the building — the top level — but on the bottom floor.
“I know this was done before I became a councilmember, but were the mayor and councilmembers consulted on where they would like to have their offices, or was it just decided for us?” Guzman said.
