New AZ industrial hub planned

Florence, a town about an hour’s drive southeast of Phoenix, is the latest area poised to gain a new industrial hub — and it already has a major data center user interested.

On Sept. 4, Florence’s Planning and Zoning Commission introduced a major general plan amendment to make way for an industrial technology park across more than 1,500 acres of agricultural land that’s currently part of the Dobson Farms master plan.
