Nearly 100 new housing units for low-income or vulnerable seniors 62 and older is joining the Surprise inventory.
The Housing Authority of Maricopa County, which provides affordable housing options for low-income and underserved populations, is ready to cut the ribbon on the new Heritage Senior Apartments at the intersection of Nash Street and Santa Fe Avenue in a revitalized area of the Original Town Site.
The county agency and the city partnered with others to build 99 one-bedroom units, aimed at helping the problem with homelessness for older residents.
