Randolph
This last week, the community of Randolph had the groundbreaking for their new community center. It truly was an honor to be able to say a few words and toss some dirt around in celebration of their history and heritage.![]() |

County Supervisor’s Association (CSA)
CSA is an organization I am extremely fond of. I was the President of the organization in 2024 and remain actively involved in what they’re doing as they are tremendously helpful. Please feel free to visit their website to see what’s happening with counties along with free tools to evaluate what resources are available to counties moving forward. You can find them by clicking here: https://www.countysupervisors.org/

Conference season
We’re coming to that time of year when conferences start lining up. This month, I’m heading to the Rural Transportation Summit along with the CSA Policy Summit. These conferences are tremendous for networking, exchanging ideas and learning from thought-leaders, as well as maintaining a positive presence for the county amongst colleagues.

Ongoing challenges
Water and power remain two ongoing, interconnected challenges for the county and state. I’m actively working with numerous stakeholders to identify solutions to our current situation. While I can’t share a ton right now, just know that I am having conversations and attempting to find ways to move the state forward.
