Randolph celebrates groundbreaking of cultural center

The community of Randolph witnessed history in the making when the first shovels full of dirt were turned at the groundbreaking for its cultural center, which is set to open next year.

It’s another milestone for the town year after celebrating its 100-year anniversary in February.

The event on Oct. 10 started with Angela Garmon, owner of ARG Coaching & Consulting Group, as mistress of ceremonies. Attendees gathered underneath the shade of canopies to shelter from the hot morning sun as they prepared to watch history unfold.

Garmon introduced distinguished guests attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Randolph Cultural Center.
