Swiss firm considers AZ for quantum chip center

A Swiss company is evaluating Arizona as a potential location for a new facility to embed quantum-resistant cryptographic keys into semiconductor chips. But after saying last year that the Valley would be the site of its U.S. headquarters, the company has widened its search.

SEALSQ Corp. (Nasdaq: LAES) said this week that it’s considering both Arizona and California to locate its newest post-quantum personalization center as part of its U.S. expansion strategy.
