An open house to discuss the future of the Carefree Town Hall will take place 4:30-6:30pm Thursday, Nov. 6, at Town Council Chambers, 33 Easy St.
Town council members will be at stations during the community event to discuss ideas for the redevelopment of the Town Hall building at 8 Sundial Circle. The building currently generates no sales tax revenue, according to the town’s website.
The Town Hall is part of the 2023 Village Center Redevelopment plan to “restore and enhance the economic vibrancy of the Village Center in a way that supports the long-term viability and sustainability of the entire Carefree community,” according to the redevelopment plan.
