Eloy’s interim city manager brings experience to community

ELOY — Mackenzie Letcher had city management in his family and feels confident in his ability to guide the city as interim manager thanks to the support of Eloy’s City Council, mayor and other staff.

The council announced his new position during its meeting on Oct. 13.

He had been assistant city manager, overseeing key organizational functions like community and economic development and public works. He has a strong background in local government, instrumental in advancing the city’s organizational success and economic growth.

His efforts directly attracted over $50 million in new capital investment over the past year, strengthened partnerships to continue bringing in development, jobs and opportunity to the community and guided the creation of the city’s first strategic plan.
