A new affordable apartment complex in Flagstaff hosted an opening event last week to mark the addition of more than 200 units for low-income households in the city.
Sierra on 66 is located next to the Timber Sky development off of West Route 66. It has 221 apartments across seven buildings, all of which are dedicated as affordable housing.
Households making up to 60% of the area median income are eligible for these apartments. According to its website, households must earn at least twice the rent for their apartment while staying under the AMI limit.
A list of AMI limits on the city’s website places 60% AMI for a household of four in Flagstaff as $65,460.
