Nvidia finalizes Intel investment

Nvidia finalized its $5 billion investment in Intel Corp. in a deal that calls for the two companies to jointly develop and manufacture data center and computer products.

Nvidia on Friday bought more than 214.7 million shares of Intel stock at a price of $23.28 a share in a private placement, equating to a 4% stake in the chipmaker, according to a Dec. 29 regulatory filing.
