Mitsubishi invests in Arizona copper mine project

Mitsubishi is shelling out nearly $600 million as a joint venture partner for an expanded copper mine project in Arizona.

The Copper World mine – a project from Toronto-based Hudbay Minerals – is an open pit mine located 28 miles southeast of Tucson in the northern Santa Rita Mountains.
