QC’s growing pains register in new survey

By Janet Perez | Queen Creek Independent

A new survey finds that while Queen Creek residents generally have a positive view of town services, traffic continues to be a major point of dissatisfaction.

The town recently released its latest Citizen Survey to get a read on what residents think of the town, how it is governed and its quality of life. The survey is conducted every two years.

Summit Survey Research conducted the survey from Oct. 29 to Nov. 21. Letters were mailed to 8,500 randomly selected households within the town’s municipal boundaries. Surveys could be completed online or via phone. In all, 699 surveys were completed.

Regarding quality of life, the survey found that 88% of those questioned had an excellent or good opinion about Queen Creek’s overall quality of life. That compares to 90% in 2023 and 94% in 2021.
