San Tan Valley’s newly appointed Town Manager is beginning his role as the town transitions from incorporation to full municipal operations, bringing with him more than three decades of experience in Arizona local government and public service in Pinal County.
He said the opportunity to serve as San Tan Valley’s first town manager was particularly meaningful given his early career experience helping build the City of Maricopa in the early 2000s. That period, he said, demonstrated the long-term impact of creating a municipality from the ground up and building relationships that shape a community’s future.
Having spent the last several years working closely with Pinal County Supervisor Mike Goodman and county staff, he said those experiences helped him gain familiarity with San Tan Valley and its needs. He believes the projects, cases, and challenges addressed during that time prepared him to provide informed guidance to the Town Council as the new town takes shape.
