Zipps Sports Grill location opening after HSI raids at multiple restaurants

Nearly 24 hours after Homeland Security Investigations raided multiple Valley restaurants, the chain has released a statement.

On Monday afternoon, HSI raided several Zipps Sports Grill locations throughout the Phoenix metro area. HSI Arizona released a statement saying the raids were part of serving federal search warrants to 15 locations.  

12News reporters at several Zipps locations spoke to people protesting outside the restaurants, as well as some employees who were released from the restaurants. 12News also saw federal agents deploy pepper balls, witnessed some individuals who had their wrists bound with zip-ties, and saw other people being detained.
