Goodyear retail survey to guide future development

Demand for additional grocery stores, national retailers, dining and entertainment options is shaping Goodyear’s next phase of commercial development, according to the city’s 2025 Retail Survey.

The survey, conducted from Oct. 1 through Nov. 15, 2025, collected feedback on shopping, dining and entertainment preferences. City officials said the results will be used to guide retail recruitment efforts and conversations with business owners, developers and site selectors.

Among grocery options, Whole Foods, AJ’s Fine Foods and Sprouts were the most frequently requested brands, signaling continued demand for specialty and upscale food retailers.
