[VIEWPOINT] Why Washington needs to match Arizona’s permitting speed

There is a saying that Arizona moves at the speed of business. From the aerospace hubs of Tucson to the semiconductor megafabs rising in the North Valley, the state has played a big part in building America’s future. One reason for Arizona’s success is its efficient, modern approach to state-level permitting. But manufacturers here are increasingly hitting a wall when it comes to federal red tape and regulatory burdens stalling any kind of momentum.
