Another Valley city rethinks data center rules

Goodyear is the latest Valley city looking to update its rules around where data centers can be located, along with battery storage facilities used to help power such projects.

The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss an updated zoning ordinance during a March 11 meeting focusing on both types of facilities.
