Peoria City Council has approved a proposal from national homebuilder Lennar Homes for a mixed-use development on 24 acres at the northeast corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Deer Valley Road.
The project, The Shoppes and The Cove at Camino á Lago, is located about 15 minutes from the main Lake Pleasant Regional Park entrance. It includes 8 acres of commercial fronting Lake Pleasant Parkway and about 16.2 acres of 105 alley-loaded single-family units with functional open spaces and pedestrian connectivity to promote walkability between uses.
“Alley loaded” allows residents to park their car behind the residence.
