Peoria has negotiated a deal with a Minneapolis-based real estate firm to sell about 12.2 acres of city land in the Peoria Innovation Core located on the northeast corner of Amkor Way and 96th Avenue.
Opus Development Company, which deals in commercial real estate development, construction, and design, has agreed to purchase the land at the fair market value of $15.40 per square-foot and build a speculative industrial space no less than 150,000 square feet.
Peoria City Council will consider the development agreement March 24.
