The city Planning and Zoning Commission will hear two proposed General Plan changes at the Casa Grande Community Recreation Center on April 23.
The public meeting is being held at the rec center as part of a state requirement that the city host major plan amendment hearings in two different locations.
Two requests that are up for discussion feature a change from Neighborhoods to Manufacturing and Industry and a request for Neighborhoods, Community Corridor, Commerce and Business to Manufacturing and Industry.
Mesa-based applicant Upfront Planning & Entitlements is requesting the change from Neighborhoods to Manufacturing and Industry on about 68 acres north of the Gila Bend Highway and west of Burris Road.
