Goodyear has selected its next city manager.
The West Valley city on April 6 unanimously approved the hiring of Bryan Langley for its top unelected position in a special meeting, with a 7-0 vote. Langley previously served as the city manager of Kyle, Texas — a city south of Austin with approximately 70,000 residents and a $600 million annual budget. He also oversaw a $1.3 billion capital improvement campaign while managing a team of about 500 employees.
