A well-known manufacturing company is coming to Yuma. While the name of the company has not been publicly identified, the location of the 50,000-square-foot building at a total cost of $485 million has been identified.
Dubbed Project Ambition, the project is being developed at 32nd Street between Avenues 4E and 5E.
“The company chose Yuma due to our logistical advantages, large agricultural network, and the cost of doing business,” said Greg LaVann, president and CEO of the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corp.
For the time being, the project is being developed under the name of Top Quality Products. Last fall, the company worked on finalizing the acquisition of 120 acres of industrial land within the city of Yuma and worked with APS on temporary and final permanent power to be ready to go public and pull permits for construction.
