Scottsdale is one of the healthiest cities in the U.S., according to a new study.
The northeast Valley suburb ranked as Arizona’s healthiest city and the 10th healthiest in the U.S., according to a WalletHub analysis.
The personal finance website compared more than 182 of the largest U.S. cities — including the 150 most populated, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across 41 health-related metrics in four categories: health care, food, fitness and green space.
Scottsdale took the No. 1 spot nationally in fitness, which includes metrics such as the share of adults who exercise and the number of fitness centers and weight-loss centers per capita.
