Valley luxury home sales cool

A quartet of luxury homes in the $6 million range paced the way in this week’s transaction report, as the 40 most expensive homes sold in the Phoenix area totaled $136.6 million.

The top 40 home sales averaged about $3.4 million in the final week of March – the most recent data available – a decrease from $5.3 million per sale over the previous two weeks, when the top 40 sales generated about $211 million.
