The city of Peoria has been named the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s 2026 Best City for Business.
The chamber stated that “Peoria was nominated by our members due to your business-friendly climate and processes. Peoria has proven to be a place that is attractive for business to relocate and expand due to its commitment to economic development, willingness to be a collaborative partner with job creators, and investment in the success and growth of your community.”
Economic development is a Peoria City Council strategic priority, focused on bringing new jobs and revenue opportunities to the city to support critical services, including public safety and water security, as well as to maintain the Sonoran Desert lifestyle and amenities that make Peoria the proud home to more than 200,000 residents, a news release states.
