A former RV park in Uptown Phoenix is becoming a mixed-use development with multifamily residential and some small-scale commercial business and offices.
The 2.5-acre property at the southwest corner of 14th Place and Highland Avenue gained initial site plan approval from the city on June 22. This phase of the site plan is for infrastructure only.
The developer said the project will be tackled in three separate phases, each of which will need to go back to the city for additional site plan approval.
Two of the three parcels, 0.59 and 0.73 acres, will contain multifamily residential only. The third phase, 0.68 acres, will have multifamily residential along with commercial and office uses. The buildings will be a maximum of two stories and 30 feet tall.
The address for the property is 4600 N. 14th Place, but Phoenix Planning and Development Team Leader David Goodman said each parcel would be given its own address in the future.
