The industrial corridor surrounding Loop 303 has rapidly grown in the southwest region of metro Phoenix for years. Now, it’s Glendale’s turn.
The COVID-19 pandemic slowed some plans for job growth in the West Valley city, but several high-profile businesses have opened near freshly annexed stretches of land near the 303. Glendale officials refer to the area as the “New Frontier.”
They say the pandemic did not throw too big of a wrench into plans for these high-profile employers, ranging from a White Claw factory in Glendale to a Microsoft data center in neighboring El Mirage and a controversial FedEx semitruck facilityin unincorporated Maricopa County.
