Scottsdale to improve Osborn Road

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The City of Scottsdale has plans to improve Osborn Road between Scottsdale Road and Hayden Road.

Plans include a new roundabout at Osborn’s intersection with Miller Road.

There are also plans for pedestrian improvements as well as bicycle lanes.

City planners have filed plans with the Scottsdale’s planning and zoning officials for their review.

The goal is to “develop Osborn Road into a ‘complete street’ accommodating multi-modal transportation components, including pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular connectivity throughout,” according to city documents.

That includes having two lanes in each direction with dedicated left turn lanes at each intersection.
