There are several large projects under construction around the Valley that may have you thinking, “I wonder if that project is still going on.” So, BEX has compiled a list of the Top 10 Projects currently under construction in Arizona, based on construction valuation, to keep you updated on just when those projects are expected to be completed.
Note: All projects were pulled from DATABEX, our online searchable database, and represent several different markets. We did not include Master Plan projects because the projects that make up a master plan have their own valuations and do not meet the threshold of the top 10. Also, while many large data centers around the Valley have been announced, most, if not all of them, will be constructed in different phases over many years. The phase that is currently under construction also would not meet our top 10 threshold.
10. Project 201: PHX Reimagined (Talking Stick Resort Arena Renovation) – $230M
Construction began on the major renovation to Talking Stick Resort Arena in Downtown Phoenix back in 2020 and is winding down in time for the 2021-22 NAB season. The $230M project includes new LED screens, communal bars, corner bars and a centerpiece sports bar, a 3.5KSF scoreboard, 55 total suites, eight theatre boxes, expansion to the main concourse, approximately 17,000 cushioned seats and more.
