Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza contract approval on council’s agenda

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council will consider approving a $191,154 construction services contract for Willmeng Construction Inc. to replace and improve infrastructure and event space at Civic Center Plaza.

Scottsdale voters approved spending for improving Civic Center spaces in 2019.

The planned improvements also come after the city performed repairs to part of the plaza area that encompasses a bridge deck over Drinkwater Boulevard.

The council will consider the contract at its March 16 meeting.
