Have you been a victim of getting caught up in the Echo Canyon Trail traffic that jams up McDonald Drive? One Paradise Valley resident says the issue is troublesome.
From vehicles stopping on the street to Ubers dropping hikers off on the roadside, a resident near Camelback Mountain says the trailhead’s traffic is out of control.
Town officials and hired consultant Baker International hosted a virtual April 14 community workshop for residents to answer questions and discuss traffic issues. The meeting is a part of ongoing work to update the town’s general plan.
While much of the meeting included online polls for participants to fill out regarding their experience with different roadways and traffic behavior, resident Dayna Kully shed light on how hikers waiting for a parking spot at Echo Canyon Trailhead will sit idly on McDonald Drive.
