Gilbert voters are likely to see a $515 million bond request for transportation and infrastructure improvements in November.
The town will hold several open houses starting Wednesday to detail their plans.
The town southeast of Phoenix has grown from fewer than 200,000 residents in 2007 — the last time voters approved a transportation bond — to nearly 260,000 today. Road issues and congestion are among the most common complaints heard by town officials.
