Some Surprise city projects finishing early

All of Surprise’s bond projects that voters approved in 2017 appear on track to be done by the end of the calendar year — and some of them are finishing early.

Despite COVID-19 stopping many industries, construction wasn’t one of them, as it was full steam ahead for a variety of projects underway in Surprise.

“We want to kind of brag a little bit about being ahead of schedule,” Project Manager Jeff Martin told the Surprise City Council at a June 15 work session. “It’s not something typically you’ll hear.”
