Some of the Phoenix-area’s biggest luxury home sales of the year closed in May just before the summer’s intense heat cranked up to triple digits.
Typically, because of the Valley’s heat, the luxury market tends to dip in the summer months, but that hasn’t really happened yet, said Steve Sommer, a real estate agent with Silverleaf Realty.
