PHOENIX — Abrazo Health’s newest hospital opened in Cave Creek on Monday, offering care closer to home for local residents.

Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital is equipped with a full 13-bed emergency department, eight inpatient rooms and will offer ultrasound, X-ray and CT scan, laboratory, pharmacy, surgical and other services.

The hospital will serve patients of all ages, offer 24/7 emergency care and provide medical care beyond what’s available at an urgent care or freestanding emergency center, administrator Sarah Bird said in a press release.

“Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital is in an ideal location for ease of access and was planned with an emphasis on quality medical care and efficiency,” Bird said in a press release.
