Infill urban housing plans filed in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

M3 Commercial Real Estate has submitted plans to rezone an Old Town Scottsdale parcel for an infill residential development.

Development plans and a rezoning request have been submitted for the proposed Meridian Art Lofts project at 3600 N. Bishop Lane.

The developer wants the city to rezone a 0.51 acre vacant parcel for an urban housing project.

The change will allow for a residential development with 16 units near Scottsdale Road and Goldwater Boulevard.

There will be 16 units — an average of 900 square feet with the 400 square feet of outdoor space.

The current zoning is  C-3 DO (Highway Commercial Downtown Overlay). The proposed zoning is D/DMU-Type 3 PBD DO (Downtown/ Downtown Multiple Use Type 3 Planned Block Development Downtown Overlay).

M3 has developed other projects in the Old Town area near the proposed lofts.
