And Arizona Latinos may expand their political reach with an eighth legislative district drawn to have a likelihood of electing Latino lawmakers.
The once-in-a-decade redrawing of the state’s congressional and legislative maps is taking shape, with the five-member Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission expected to approve draft maps Thursday.
