Opinion: Salmon says Lake has a pro-choice past and is using pro-life as a ‘convenient commodity to exploit for her own personal gain.’

In his run for Arizona governor, former congressman Matt Salmon would like Republicans to think of him as the candidate who is even Trumpier than the uber-Trumper Kari Lake, the long-time news reader on local TV.
Salmon’s problem – and it’s a real thing – is that although he is an old-school conservative, and as hardcore as they come, he does not appear willing to act as certifiably … unhinged (assuming, for her own sake, that it is an act) as Lake.
The other Republicans in the race are having the same problem.
In these very sad times, Republican voters appear interested only in candidates who can out-Trump the Trumpier politicians by being the Trumpiest of the wannabe Trumps.

And since Lake appears willing to do and say anything, Salmon has decided to go on the attack.
