Mitigation of Scottsdale’s heat island and creating and implementing a sustainability plan are among the top issues on City Council’s to do-list for 2022.
That was the consensus at Scottsdale City Council’s annual retreat last week as members sorted through and prioritized the top action items in the General Plan 2035.
Also at the top of the list of things to get done this year is creating an emergency management plan and program, housing and human services programs and updating the economic development strategic plan.
