Scottsdale homebuilder buys more land for hundred of houses in Queen Creek

Shea Homes has bought another 38.55 acres to build nearly 200 more homes in Queen Creek, part of a plan to construct a total of 401 houses in a new community it is developing.

Shea Homes paid $8.53 million in cash for the vacant land within the second phase of Jorde Farms south of the southwest corner of Germann and Crismon roads, according to Vizzda LLC — equating to $221,206.23 per acre.
