ELOY — Affordable housing has been a widely debated topic in the country recently. With the state of Arizona seeing a huge rise in housing prices, many first-time home buyers struggle to find a reasonable place to stay that fits their budget.
However, Diamond Age, a company based in Phoenix, is using new, 3D-printing technology to bridge the gap and build homes faster, cheaper and overall more affordable for the average home buyer.
Diamond Age has recently begun building a 3D-printed home in the Toltec area of Eloy. Although the city still needs to go through the approval process for the overall project, Diamond Age has the potential to provide quality homes to future buyers.
