MARICOPA — The Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission put its focus on maintaining open and recreational space as neighborhoods continue to move in.
On Monday, the commission rezoned 8.47 acres from existing single family residential to parks and recreation open space that will be used among other purposes for multiple Little League fields. It’s located on the western half of the Lakes at the Rancho El Dorado subdivision.
This park will be maintained by the city since it’s owned by the city.
