Price says MEDA, Chamber must be partners to move Maricopa forward

MARICOPA — With a new but very familiar face in charge, the Maricopa Economic Development Alliance is hoping to strengthen existing connections in order to fuel new ones that will move the city into a more prosperous future.

At the recent monthly breakfast for the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Christian Price, who took over the organization after resigning as mayor on July 1, spoke to the large gathering in attendance about how MEDA benefits the community.

He said MEDA is “often accused” of not liking small businesses, but they’re the “lifeblood” of the economy. However, large mixed with small businesses lead to better business for all.
