Chemical plant approved, Marriott hotel for Casa Grande moves a step closer

CASA GRANDE — LCY Electronic Materials has received approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission to build an electronics-grade chemical manufacturing plant on 33.7 acres on the west side.

The Taiwanese company intends to manufacture high-quality isopropyl alcohol, which is used in semiconductor processing, in Central Arizona Commerce Park on Commerce Drive, which is near the Tractor Supply and Walmart distribution centers.. The company has several sites located around the globe including locations in the United States at San Diego and Houston.

The approval adds to a semiconductor chemical company boom in Casa Grande with recent developments approved for the Jing He Science, Chang Chun and Kantos companies.
