Commercial center planned for San Tan Valley

A proposal to allow a commercial center on a 20.6-acre plot of land in San Tan Valley, Arizona was heard at the Pinal County Board of Supervisors’ meeting on March 1, 2023. The meeting included arguments from both proponents and opponents of the project.

The development has a daycare, a charter school, four pad sites for restaurants, a pad site for a retail user and a carwash.

The proponents argued that the commercial center would provide much-needed amenities and services to the growing community of San Tan Valley, including a grocery store, restaurants, and other retail options. They also noted that the project would create jobs and generate tax revenue for the county.
