The city of Goodyear was one of the first West Valley cities to kick off industrial growth along the Loop 303 corridor and has seen a surplus of warehouses being built around its airport that have become home to a number of logistics companies.
While some major industrial projects are still on their way to Goodyear, the city’s new economic development leader said she wants to shift the city’s focus away from distribution uses and more toward clean energy, light manufacturing and also retail and restaurant growth.
