Maricopa County is now offering an automated service that every resident, property owner, and business operator must be aware of. This new automated system will send alerts when documents referencing specific names are filed with the recorder’s office. Rose Law Group pc is available to register on your behalf to maintain your anonymity. Our office will stay on alert for judgments, liens, lis pendens, and other potentially adverse documents routinely filed with the recorder’s office, and provide you real time notifications and action plans as are necessary and appropriate.
The County’s new service is called Maricopa Title Alert and monitors documents recorded with the Recorder’s Office and alerts subscribers. Specifically, the program will notify participants by email when a document is recorded referencing the names of individuals or businesses that they registered with. All that is required to take advantage of this new program is to register by providing an active email address and entering the names of the individuals and/or businesses whose interest you wish to monitor.
The service is free and applies only to documents recorded after signing up. However, registrants beware, the email address that you register with will be subject to public disclosure subject to Arizona Revised Statutes Title 39. Thus, if you do register your private email address will become public record, as will any name registered to be monitored and associated with it.
