The look and landscaping for an Apache Gardens apartment complex on 5 acres west of Crismon Road on the south side of Main Street were discussed at a recent meeting of the Mesa Design Review Board.

The vacant property is in Maricopa County and as part of the annexing process into the city of Mesa is to be rezoned to multiple residence 4, Staff Planner Joshua Grandlienard said at the July 11 meeting.

“Current site plan is six buildings with three-story apartment buildings with the amenities centrally located on the north side,” he said. “It is a gated development. Pavers are located at the entry as well as multiple locations throughout the site through landscape islands to provide that for people who park in those areas as well as pedestrian paths throughout the site.”

David Bohn of BFH Group is the applicant. BFH Holdings LLC is the owner.
