FLORENCE — A master-planned community of 3,062 homes at the northwest corner of Adamsville and Plant roads will be well-designed to reflect the land’s “history and agricultural roots,” the Florence Planning and Zoning Commission was told on Jan. 4.
“This vision extends to the sense of arrival experienced upon entering the community by way of landscaping and custom monuments featured at each entrance, which enhances the street pattern and adds to the roadway design,” owner Chris Dobson told the commission.
“Opportunities are provided for added landscaping with significant landscape buffers wrapping around the perimeter of the project and pedestrian connectivity linking individual neighborhoods and small neighborhood parks to the well-distributed network of three-acre and five-acre parks with amenities, for connectivity throughout the overall community.”
